Anna Stenberg

Anna Stenberg graduated as Master of Arts in Dance Performance from the Theatre Academy of the University of the Arts Helsinki in 2019. Her Master’s studies also included Music Theatre. Anna found her way to Petri Kekoni Company through repertory workshops, where she enjoyed Kekoni’s distinctive movement material. With the company, she has danced in the pieces 369° in Helsinki in 2019, as well as the FAUST opera at Savonlinna Opera Festival in 2018.

Anna has also worked with Carl Knif Company, performing at Svenska Teatern in Helsinki and Tampere Theatre Festival, as well on tours with Riksteatern of Sweden and Taidetestaajat. With the collective of Femme³, Far(away)Ensemble and other groups, she has performed in city surroundings, freelance festivals, churches, for the camera and in art galleries. Anna is also a dance teacher (Savonia University of Applied Sciences, 2014), teaching in Finnish, Swedish and English. When Anna isn’t dancing, she develops her skills in acting and singing, enjoys books by Agatha Christie, and goes second-hand shopping or swimming.
