7 THESES IN SHADOW FESTIVAL
Petri Kekoni Company´s short dance film “Seven theses” has been chosen to presentation in InShadow – Lisbon Screendance Festival in November 2024. From 22nd November to 9th December, the work would be on a loop with other films at Espaço Santa Catarina, a gallery space located on Calçada do Combro, near Bairro Alto, in Lisbon Portugal.
The work has been created by the collaboration between choreographer Petri Kekoni ja cinematographer Thomas Freundlich in 2013. It´s based on material and concept originally created for the stage for the Petri Kekoni Company´s dance piece Theses of the Deed (2011).

From abstract, graphic movement patterns to shadowy neo-Expressionism and the frozen wilderness of the Arctic North, ‘Seven Theses’ is a kinetic and visual journey through surprising remixes of movement material originally created for the stage.
